"Snob Alley" a strange place to stumble onto. Such little foresight and closed mindedness. It is fortunate for all of us that the auto manufactures are not of the same minds as you all seem to be. throughout history of the industrial art of auto manufacturing, it is quite evident that auto manufactures have taken cues from the customizers. I am of the mind that original is for me but I most definitively can appreciate what other artist can accomplish with a bit of imagination and foresight and it's really to bad that you all can't

t pains me every time that I see someone take a classic truck and completely ruin by adding their own custom features. One thing that I’ve seen many times that makes absolutely no sense to me is adding extra grill teeth. Adding in extras like bucket seats and custom guages seems to be pretty popular also. In response, I have created the “Hall of Shame” to showcase these hideous creations.'' i totally agree with you...i am planning to leave the worn out paint,i like to leave the patina on all my vintage stuff, why fix something it aint broken

Thanks for saying it. Better an original, restored vehicle than an ugly, customized one.

There are lots of idioms in the history of kustom kar kraft, and many are kitsch.
